
Opening reception: Four Artists, Four Visions
An opening reception will be held for " Four Artists, Four Visions." The exhibit features the work of four artists invited by Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø art faculty to exhibit. It runs through April 8.
They are:
? Oscar Gillespie, a professor of art at Bradley University in Peoria, where he teaches printmaking and drawing. He is noted for expertise in monotypes and intaglio, especially metal-plate engraving. His work may be found in more than 60 public collections.
? Claire Hedden, curator of the McLean County Arts Center, Bloomington, Ill. She holds an MFA in ceramics from the New York State Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø of Ceramics, Alfred University, Alfred, N.Y.
? Tom Lundberg, professor of art at Colorado State University, where he coordinates graduate and undergraduate programs in fibers and teaches courses in weaving and surface design.
? Joseph Patrick, professor emeritus in painting and drawing at the University of Iowa. He has had more than 50 solo exhibitions.
The Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Teaching Museum of Art is open to the public Friday and Saturday from noon to 4:00 p.m. when school is in session.
