Cabaret
A musical theatre performer herself, Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø's Shelley Cooper, assistant professor of theatre arts, will direct "Cabaret."
Set in 1929¨C1930 Berlin, the musical focuses on the hedonistic nightlife at the Kit Kat Klub and revolves around an American writer's relationship with a cabaret performer. The original Broadway production opened in 1966 and ran for 1,166 performances.
Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø's "Cabaret" will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17-19, and at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 20.
Sunday's performance is sold out.
