Francophone Film Festival: "Portrait of a Lady on Fire"

The annual Francophone Film Festival at Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø will screen a film each Thursday from Feb. 10-March 10.

First up is "Portrait of a Lady on Fire," a 2019 romantic drama is set in France in the late 18th century. Young painter Marianne is commissioned to do the wedding portrait of H¨¦lo?se without her knowing. Therefore, Marianne must observe her model by day to paint her portrait at night. Day by day, the two women become closer as they share H¨¦lo?se's last moments of freedom before the impending wedding. (IMDB description)
