Pride in Memory reception
Quad Cities Pride in Memory will host a reception in honor of its first display of local LGBTQ historical artifacts.
In collaboration with the Putnam Museum, Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø, Sarah Robb and Fourth Wall Films, Pride in Memory will unveil a set of six history panels representing the lives of local LGBTQ+ residents from a variety of perspectives and relevant topics from the 1960s through the 2000s.
The panels were created under the direction of Robb, a local artist.
Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø students Hannah Weber, Mackenzie Sullivan and Katie Zenisek are taking individual histories for the project, and producing multi-media presentations such as public radio podcasts made available online, a published booklet and more.
The students will be present to answer questions, along with a representative of Moline-based Fourth Wall Films, which is collaborating with Pride in Memory on a full-length documentary film.
