Symphonic Band Sesquicentennial Celebration

Established in 1874 as the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Silver Cornet Band, the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø band program has grown to include several ensembles. In 2024, the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band (formerly the Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Concert Band) will mark its 150th anniversary on Nov. 22-24.

Plans include a weekend sesquicentennial celebration featuring:

• Friday evening refreshments
• Two continental breakfasts
• Tours of Bergendoff Hall and campus
• Participation in the alumni band (alumni only)
• Dinner
• Reserved, priority seating at the sesquicentennial celebration concert
