Biology mural installation

The Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Biology Department invites campus nature and science lovers to a collaborative mural event featuring local beetle diversity.

The event begins at 1 p.m. on March 14 at Hanson Hall of Science. The mural will be installed by Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø students and faculty on the building's third floor.

The mural, which features beetles collected at the local field station by Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø students, was designed by PlantBot Genetics co-founders Wendy DesChene and Jeff Schmuki. The artists' work combines activism, research and social space to foster discussion and generate action in the area of ecological awareness.
