Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø is turning the page this year on its popular Christmas at Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø performances, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The typically sold-out shows at Centennial Hall have been converted into a virtual Advent calendar, where the audience can open a new performance every day starting Dec. 1.
Three hundred student musicians will participate in performances by the Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Brass Ensemble, Ascension Ringers, Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphony Orchestra, Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Choir, Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Concert Chorale and Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble and the Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Jazz Ensemble.
Each daily release features an ensemble performing a festive new work or a favorite from previous Christmas seasons.
Performances will be released daily through Dec. 24. No tickets are necessary, although donations are appreciated.
