Christmas at Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø tickets, livestream

Christmas at Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø has been a Quad Cities tradition for 11 years. There will be two performances this year: one at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, and one at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8.

The best seats remaining are for the Sunday concert.

The performance takes place in a spendidly decorated Centennial Hall, 3703 7th Ave., Rock Island.

Six Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø music ensembles with some 300 student musicians will share their talent. The Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Brass Ensemble, Ascension Ringers, Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphony Orchestra, Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Choir, Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Concert Chorale and Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble will be featured.

Quad Cities¡¯ ABC affiliate WQAD News 8 will live stream the 2 p.m. performance Saturday. The performance will be rebroadcast at 9 a.m. Christmas Day on MY TV 8.3, and again at 4 p.m. Dec. 28 on Channel 8.

The Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphony Orchestra will offer early 20th-century American composer George Whitefield Chadwick¡¯s "Noel" from his four-movement orchestral work, "Symphonic Sketches."

Tickets are $21 for adults, $16 for senior citizens, and $11 for students and children.

Parking is available in the lot east of Centennial Hall. Additional parking is available across 38th Street and west of the Denkmann Memorial Building.

The will-call desk will open 90 minutes before each performance. Doors open for audience seating a half-hour before performances. Latecomers will be seated at an appropriate break in the performance.
