Jeffrey Powell retired from Abbott Laboratories after 35 years of service. Most recently, he served as the business human resource director for Abbott's Electrophysiology Business Unit in Plymouth, Minn.

Emily Klehm is the vice president of operations for the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago. 

2006

Dr. Jenn Hintzsche, CEO and founder of PherDal Fertility Science, was a finalist for the 2025 SXSW Innovation Awards in the category of health and biotech. Her PherDal Fertility Kit is the only FDA-cleared, 100% sterile at-home insemination kit, and was named one of TIME magazine¡¯s Best Inventions for 2024.

Andrew Houghton is the head of the Elgin Police Department's new Cold Case Unit. In February, he launched a podcast called ¡°Somebody Knows Something,¡± which follows along as the new unit re-investigates the 1983 disappearance of a 23-year-old woman. The podcast is available on all major streaming services.
