My Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Story: Sierra Kindley
Sierra Kindley '18 is a biology and environmental studies double major.
When she was looking at colleges, she thought she wanted to attend a bigger school. After visiting Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø, she realized what she found here was unlike what she had seen anywhere else.
"I knew that I was going to get to develop very close connections relationships and personal relationships with my professors," she said.
She used her $2,000 from Augie Choice to study abroad on East Asia term. She traveled to Japan, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
"It was a really positive experience. I think my biggest take away from Asia term was gaining a new perspective that I didn't have before. I've been fortunate to learn and travel, and learn while traveling. But everything that I bring back to campus with me just helps me to continue to learn and continue to grow as an individual and as a student."
