Following another successful year in the classroom and on the track, the Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Vikings had three senior student-athletes repeat as Academic All-America selections.

On Tuesday, the Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Sports Information Directors of America released the list of spring Academic All-America honorees. Runners David Devore and Becca Sund earned recognition for the second straight year, while David Voland landed a spot on the AAA list for a third straight year.

Voland, from Batavia, Ill., graduated Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø with a 3.83 GPA and a degree in math and secondary education. Devore, from Midland, Mich., had a 3.68 GPA and a degree in math and computer science. Both men ran legs on the Vkings' 1,600-meter relay team, which won the NCAA Division III National Indoor Championship in March.

Sund, from Palatine, Ill., graduated with a 3.97 GPA and like Voland, a degree in math and secondary education. She had the Vikings' best times in the 3,000 (indoor) and 1,600 (outdoor). In April, Sund anchored Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø's winning 6,400 relay at the Norse Relays and anchored the Vikings distance medley relay that finished 12th in the Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Division at the Drake Relays.
