Augie Sweethearts: Greta Hanson and Michael Mortenson, Class of 1996

Mike and I met our first day of college, as we were both in the same Freshman Orientation group!  Later that year, when we were in ¡°Religion in America¡± together, Mike asked to meet me after class to borrow my notes. I thought it was a cryptic way of asking me out, but it turned out he just wanted my notes!  Our sophomore year, when I saw Mike's picture in the Augie newspaper, I cut it out and sent it to him with a note.  He took the hint, asked me on a date, and the rest is history!

We were married on Oct. 4, 1997, in the beautiful Ascension Chapel by our dear Pastor Swanson.  Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø brought another couple together on our wedding day ¡ª my Augie roommate and my brother hit it off at our wedding, and got married themselves three years later!
