He will give a lecture on Monday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. in Centennial Hall.

A newly named 38-million-year-old catlike mammal will be called Pangurban egiae in honor of a scientist's fond recollection of his Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø English class.
Dr. Ashley Poust ¡¯06 has named the new species of sabretooth nimravid in honor of his class with Dr. Joseph D. McDowell.

Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø is among 103 institutions recognized for the award in 2022. It is a national honor demonstrating an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Written business plan submissions are due Jan. 8, 2023.

Have cameras, will travel
Senior Sarah Walton poses for a photo with people she met in Lumbini, Nepal. She accompanied Dr. Carolyn Yaschur, associate professor of multimedia journalism and mass communication (MJMC), on her sabbatical project. They are teaching photojournalism to a group of high school girls in collaboration with Girl Reports, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls by teaching them journalism. Walton and Dr. Yaschur took cameras donated by the Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø community for their photojournalism workshop. Walton is an MMJC, communication studies and theatre performance major from New Lenox, Ill.
