She performs regularly throughout the U.S. and abroad as a chamber musician and&nbsp\;soloist.\n\nDakin is an&nbsp\;adjunct assistant professor of music. She&nbsp\;is principal violist with the Quad City Symphony\, and earned a&nbsp\;doctor of musical arts from the University of Iowa.\n\nElfline is an&nbsp\;associate professor of music.
