DESCRIPTION:Dr. Bobby Wengronowitz\, visiting assistant professor in sociology\, anthropology and social welfare\, will present the first&nbsp\;lecture&nbsp\;of this year's&nbsp\;Frieze Lecture series\,&nbsp\;a 22-year partnership between the Rock Island Public Library and Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø to present four talks in the fall.\n\nThis year's theme is "Student Bill of Rights and Responsibilities\," in conjunction with the&nbsp\;40th anniversary of the assassination of one of Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø¡¯s most extraordinary graduates.\n\nDr. Wengronowitz will consider the global phenomenon that is the School Strike for Climate Action\, begun by Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg.\n\nLectures are from 2-3 p.m. Tuesdays&nbsp\;at the Rock Island Main Library\, 401 19th St.\, Community Room.
