DESCRIPTION:Informational meetings will be held Oct. 22 and Nov. 12 for students interested in the Texas Medical Center Summer Research Internship Program (TMC-SRIP).\n\nThe Texas Medical Center Summer Research Internship Program is for students who will be completing their junior year at Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø in May 2024. It is open to all majors.&nbsp\;Any student interested in any aspect of health care is invited and encouraged to apply.\n\nThis is a paid full-time\, 10-week research internship at the Texas Medical Center in Houston. Augie Choice and additional stipends are available for this program.\n\nPrevious Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø students have been placed at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center\, one of the world's leading treatment and research centers\; Texas Children's Hospital\, an international leader in pediatric medicine\; as well as Baylor Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø of Medicine\, Rice University\, and the University of Texas Health Science Center's prestigious Center for Laboratory Animal Medicine and Care.\n\nOne-on-one mentoring relationships can be established in clinical or research medicine\, any area of allied health\, psychology\, neuroscience\, veterinary research\, as well as in human resources\, health care economics\, medical illustration\, pastoral care\, law\, finance\, health care policy\, and clinical ethics.\n\nFor program questions\, contact&nbsp\;Dr. Heidi Storl\, TMC-SRIP Director.\n\nFor application questions\, contact&nbsp\;Beth Ford\, Career Coach.\n
