Augie Autistic Experiences
Autism acceptance by autistics for autistics; because neurodiversity is beautiful.
Augie Autistic Experiences is a group to provide a safe and supportive place on campus for autistic students and allies. Community education, neurodiversity, social justice, and acceptance are at the core of this group. This group also aims to provide a support system for autistic students at Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø as well as advocate for change to the community and policies if/when necessary. We are a group based in neurodiversity and we encourage all new members to read the following articles before joining:
- "What is Neurodiversity" (Harvard Health Publishing)
- "Autism Acceptance Not Awareness: A Perspective Shift Is Needed" (Forbes)
