Sierra Club
Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Sierra Club serves to promote awareness of environmental issues and foster a personal connection to the natural environment. This club will practice sustainability on campus and provide opportunities for students to experience our natural environment. Club members will go on excursions including day hikes and overnight camping trips. Club members also participate in service events ranging from campus cleanups to local environmental event volunteering. Augie Sierra Club has a close relationship with many local and national organizations including River Action, Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA), Eagle View Sierra Club, and Progressive Action for the Common Good. Through our large network of collaborators, we promote environmentalism throughout the Quad Cities.
