Senior Adele Shirkey, a communication studies and music performance major from Schaumberg, Ill., will perform a flute recital.
Presentation: 'U.S. Democracy: It's Not as Bad as it Seems'
Guest speaker Dr. Kurt Weyland, a professor at the University of Texas at Austin, will discuss the resilience of U.S. democracy in light of recent political developments, drawing from his latest book, which focuses on the case of the United States, and research on authoritarian populism.
Student recital: Georgi Feigley, voice
Senior Georgi Feigley, a French and music performance major from Rock Island, Ill., will perform a voice recital.
Planetarium and geology museum open house
Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø's John Deere Planetarium and Fryxell Geology Museum will be open to the public on Saturday, May 3, 2025, for the annual spring open house.
