Pole vaulter balances academics, activities and athletics
Mackenzie Butcher, a pole vaulter from Colorado Springs, Colo., qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championship in her first season after a tie with her CCIW conference competition. She cleared 11 feet, 7? inches to tie for 12th at the indoor nationals. Her record height is 12-2 ? ¡ª the third-highest pole vault in Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø history.
