American Speech-Language-Hearing Association public meeting

The Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association will conduct an initial accreditation site visit at Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø on Nov. 6-7.

Volley for a Cause

Zeta Phi Kappa is hosting a volleyball tournament to raise money for QC Paws. The cost to enter is $5/person and teams have 6-10 people. There is a $60 cash prize for the winning team. Players can pay cash or Venmo @ZetaPhiKappa in advance or on the day of the event.

The 2023 American Model United Nations (AMUN) conference will be held Nov. 18-21 at the Sheraton Grand Chicago in Chicago, Ill.

Optometry careers info session and dinner

Dr. Erik Mothersbaugh, '08, Dean of Student Affairs at Illinois Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø of Optometry, will visit campus to talk with students interested in optometry careers.

Solar eclipse viewing

Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø¡¯s John Deere Planetarium and Fryxell Geology Museum invite the public to view the partial eclipse of the sun from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The planetarium will offer indoor and outdoor programs in the planetarium, observatory and geology museum.
