Planetarium open house

Sauk Valley Community Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø (SVCC) has entered into an agreement with Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø to enhance and expand opportunities for students enrolled at SVCC. This agreement allows students enrolling at SVCC with the intention of completing an associate of arts program to apply to Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø at the same time.

Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø students, faculty and staff who have directly experienced a loved one's incarceration are invited to a breakfast gathering on Monday, April 17, 7:45-8:45 a.m., sponsored by the Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Prison Education Program.

A grant from the Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust will allow Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø faculty and students to engage in next-generation DNA sequencing research.
Submit proposals for Diversity Week
Each office, organization or campus member can submit event proposals for Diversity Week. The OSID will include approved proposals in its calendar of events. The deadline to submit a proposal is April 6.
Augie sends two teams to CFA Challenge finals

Out of 16 teams, seven advanced as finalists, including Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø¡¯s two teams. ¡°The competition was fierce,¡± said Dr. Lina Zhou, the teams' faculty advisor.
