Acclaimed Swedish folk musicians Jaerv and The OK Factor will perform. The concert is co-sponsored by the American Scandinavian Association at Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø, the Quad City Arts Visiting Artist Series and Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø.

OperX: 'Amahl and the Night Visitors'

OperX at Å·ÖÞ±­ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±­ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø will perform "Amahl and the Night Visitors," a one-act opera by Gian Carlo Menotti.

The opera tells the story of Amahl, a boy with a disability who meets the Three Kings on their way to meet the Christ child.

Jeremy Dauber: 'Jewish Comedy: A Serious History'

Jeremy Dauber frequently lectures on topics related to Jewish literature, history, humor and popular culture. He is the Atran Professor of Yiddish Language, Literature, and Culture at Columbia University. He also serves as director of Columbia University¡¯s Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies. Dauber received his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Harvard and his doctorate from the University of Oxford, which he attended as a Rhodes Scholar.
