Global Ambassadors welcome international students
Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø welcomes 192 first-year and transfer international students this year. Seven Global Ambassadors, who are returning international students, assist the new students throughout the year.

Vikings coach keeps Wintroub '22 in the game
Pitcher Josh Wintroub ¡¯22 did not play his last year of high school and thought his playing days were over. But Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Coach Greg Wallace '88 saw Wintroub¡¯s potential and recruited the right-hander to join the Vikings.

Castro ¡¯21 positioned to ¡®help be the change in the Illinois Quad Cities¡¯
A project led by Ben Castro ¡¯21 to better understand uneven food access and food insecurities within QC MetroLINK¡¯s service area placed fourth in a national competition. The project is tied to Castro's Senior Inquiry for his geography major.

Students research endangered species in the African bush
Three students researched the painted dog species this summer in Zimbabwe. Offered through Å·ÖÞ±ÍøÍ¶_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø's CORE office, the internship aligned perfectly with what the students want to pursue in the future ¡ª wildlife conservation and rehabilitation, and wildlife medicine.
