Spring ensemble tours deepen performance skills
This spring, the Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Symphonic Band traveled the Midwest, the Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Choir toured California and the Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble performed three concerts in Illinois. Through these tours, Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø students get to experience different cultures and share their love of music with others.
Track & Field and Cross Country Golf Outing
The inaugural Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø Track & Field and Cross Country Golf Outing will take place on Sunday, July 28, at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Ill. Cost is $400 per foursome or $100 per person. If you wish to only attend dinner, registration is $35 per person.

The commencement address was given by Dr. Lisa Durant-Jones, who served as Å·ÖÞ±ÍøͶ_Å·ÖÞ±ÍâΧapp-Ͷע¹ÙÍø's interim vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion during the 2023-2024 academic year. Viet Bui '24, an engineering physics and computer science double major from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, was the featured student speaker.
